Biography
Kristian Ferjainen is a shred guitarist who was born in Europe on 11/16/94.
At five years old, he was listening to the greatest composers of classical music and rock (among whom Yngwie Malmsteen stands out). At that age, Kristian became interested in making his own music.
But it was not until 12 years of age when he started playing the guitar seriously, the instrument which would later become his musical cornerstone.
By the time he was 16, Kristian had begun to master the guitar, learning modern techniques and musical skills. He is self-taught. In those years he began to put his work on Youtube and began composing short riffs, not to mention dedicating himself to learning about music and other instruments, like the piano and drums.
But it was at age 17 when he had the opportunity to perform at a Guinness Book of World Records contest in which he was the last candidate playing and the one to break the record with a playing time of 15 straight hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds. With this record, Kristian took a small step forward, but what it really represents is his immense willpower and musical potential, which will undoubtedly help him achieve his dream.
Currently Kristian is continuing to pursue his dream, seizing whatever opportunities arise.
After getting a solid musical training, having been in bands, having played several musical instruments, and having received formal lessons, Kristian plans to release his first album in 2015. He has been composing it for four years and is currently working to finish it, expecting that the album will yield a grain of hope for him.
